5.0 out of 5 stars Attracts Attention Attractive Retro Realistic & WAY COOL !, November 22, 2009

This guy is a winner. I picked mine up after season last year when it was discounted. I had been wanting one for about a year before that. This Jukebox is loud (for its size) and clear. Has the bonus of CD player and after a few minutes the bubbles start to flow on either side of the machine's neon sides. Just like the old-style bubble jukeboxes of yesteryear. It definitely attracts attention in the room when turned on. I consider it a very good quality made electronic device. Crosley is not known for junk. I think any time you can pick up this item for under $100 you got a deal, but over that I would consider upgrading to a bigger Crosley jukebox system. If you can't afford to own or have the space to have a full Jukebox, this desktop scale version is IT! Love it!

great sound and appearance. Bought for a child's birthday gift. More appropriate for an adult because of durability.

I say one more star better if it had an aux input for a mp3 device. Then it would be perfect. My dad got this for me two years ago for Christmas. Not our taste to be honest but it was cool, too cool to do away with it. It's now out in the dinning area of the house and I use it more often than I thought I would. Like I said though, if only I could plug in my ipod it would be perfect! :)

Custom Built LED Touchscreen Jukebox

This is our newest creation. ITS FOR SALE ALSO!! Its a compacted touchscreen Jukebox. Comes complete, you just add your cd collection. Also connects to the internet wifi so you can add all your favorite internet radio stations. I tried to film this with my kodak Zi8 camera but it doesnt get clear crisp visuals and the audio is nothing like how you hear it in person. I only showed a little of what the jukebox software can do. I have preinstalled radio stations as well as just a small sample of music albums. The led light is very cool in my opinion! As you can see in the video it goes all around the cabinet. It has 3 modes always on, off, and party mode. The party mode will work when the volume is at a certain level. It has a THX certified sub woofer and sound system built in it. Aswell as a dell computer with powermate griffin volume control. Its a total of 80lbs of pure music bliss. Contact me if you would like to know more about this custom jukebox or would like one built for you at: imaginepower.com

Hung figure, 2

This is a kinetic sculpture made by Stuart Dunbar for a Scottish art duo called LittleWhitehead. Here is the work in progress, testing the mechanism in my back garden. Showing insides of jukebox and how I tinkered with a cd player, a micro switch and a remote to skip the CD track. I had to swing a slightly over sized figure side to side from the ceiling and when it hits the juke box, it has to make the record skip. This is replicated from a scene in an old 1970's B movie, which was installed in eleven howland gallery in central london.
